About AICADR

The Government of India’s Law Commission in its 246th Report emphasized on culture of institutional arbitration in India and recommended chambers of commerce to set up new arbitration centers with rules/ latest provisions. Hence, AICADR has been formed as an exclusive Council of the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), providing Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation and other related services to the industry.

The ADR Rules are based on UNCITRAL model, drawn up after series of meetings and deliberations with the Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court, High Court, leading practitioners, senior bureaucrats, industrial representatives and authorities from Secretariat of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and International Commercial Arbitration.

Stakeholder’s capacity building

Research and coordination with national & international institutions engaged in ADR.

Speedy, transparent and cost-effective resolution of disputes

ASSOCHAM is also bringing out a publication on Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. On behalf of their leadership, Organizations may submit write-up, article or case study related to D&I within 500 words or one page. A few pages of the publication are reserved for advertisements, and you may also submit the advertisements for branding.
